Welcome to Willunga Farmers Market
Willunga Farmers Market was the first farmers market to be established in South Australia and is now considered one of the best.
‘Meet the grower and taste the region’ is the theme for this market, held every Saturday in Willunga Town Square; rain, hail or shine!
With more than 55 stalls selling fresh primary produce from regional farms and Fleurieu Peninsula products, shoppers experience a diverse variety, showcasing all that is fresh and seasonal.
Royal Melbourne Fine Food Award!
Silver Medal received in the 'Curry Paste' category for 'Matchett's Chilli Fire'.
Bronze Medal received in the 'Seeded Cracker' category for 'Matchett's Poppy Seed Crackers'.
Congratulations to Richard Bennett of Fleurieu Garlic in garnering a Gold Medal for his Creole Garlic entry at the 2014 Royal Melbourne Fine Food Awards. Judges comments included “ Excellent size bulbs, skins and purple cloves, taste test score a high 37.5 out of 40! Richard gives a big thanks to his loyal customer base and comments that “without the Market and the support of the local community I wouldn’t have been able to sustain a successful Garlic growing business” . This Saturday is his last day of trade for the season so make sure to drop by and check out the last of the seasons produce. Well done and thanks for being a great ambassador for WFM Richard!
