The current advice from the Government continues to be that OPEN AIR Food Markets are exempt from the restrictions in place.

That said, we are implementing some sound precautions to ensure the continuation of the essential service providing fresh food direct to you from the producer.

We are moving the fresh produce stalls (fruit & vegetables only) across the road to Willunga Rec Park – just across the road from the Market.  We encourage you to use the designated “island” crossing by the bus stop on Main Road.  Some parking will be available via Gold Coin donation to Willunga Rec Park (entry points will be clearly signed).

Stall density reduction across the 2 sites will allow us to continue to operate safely under the current guidelines of the Australian Govt.

Keep cups and reusable mugs were regrettably suspended last week, and this will remain in place until further notice.

We’ve made the decision not to place tables and chairs out, lessening non-essential gatherings.  Our hot food stalls will provide “on the go” food options, no sit down options.  We will place some seating designed as “shopping rest points” at some locations in the market (both sites) should you need to take a short break from your shopping.

We will be managing crowd numbers closely. Our market needs to maintain its safety and integrity.

To our customers, we ask;
Please Shop Considerately
– Queue Distantly
– Could one person shop for your family?
– Use your bag to pick up the food you want
– Don’t touch food you are not buying
