Notice some empty spaces? It’s not your imagination, this current round of Covid is finally catching up with people who’ve somehow made it this far without catching earlier variations. That means calling out of markets to isolate, often at the last minute. It’s heartbreaking and budget straining for farmers who have already harvested, bakers who have perishable product coming out of the oven, and market managers who need to create market maps! We know you, our know loyal customers are disappointed when your favourite stalls are missing. Seasons doesn’t last forever, and every week is precious. This weekend is also the annual Willunga Almond Blossom Festival!
The festival welcomes you all to a weekend of family fun. With camel and pony rides, show rides, side shows, animal nursery, giant games, food trucks, live music, market stalls and almonds. There will be Saturday night fireworks and on Sunday enter the Almond Cracking Competition. Over the two days there is almond cooking demonstrations or if you like to cook enter the Almond Cookery Competition. Bring the entire family, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
