Join our 2017 Young Farmers Scholarship, Michael Taylor of Primordia Mushrooms for a morning of wild Mushroom foraging and education in Kuitpo Forest.
This tour is being offered to our Members exclusively and includes lunch at 3 Monkeys Fine Foods in Willunga to conclude the tour. Cost including lunch and a glass of wine is $40 per person.
Start time will be 10am at Kuitpo (final location to be confirmed closer to the date) – members that are interested in car-pooling from Willunga can register their interest at time of booking to either drive or be a passenger.
Michael Taylor grew up in McLaren Vale and studied Biotechnology at Flinders University before going on to complete a PhD in microbiology and microbial ecology. He has been growing gourmet and medicinal mushrooms for consumption and research projects since 2010. Michael is a Willunga Farmers Market board member and seasonal stallholder and looks forward to sharing his passion for Fungi with you.
