On Saturday, 25th November 2017 Willunga was a buzz with the “Spring into Willunga Street Party”.
WFM stall holders were for the first time in its 15 year history, trading from Willunga’s High Street which was closed to traffic for the day as part of the Street Party celebrations. 55 regular stall holders from the weekly Farmers Market set up in the middle of High Street, creating a fabulous atmosphere with plenty of room for traders and shoppers alike.
The event was also well received by visitors to the region who took the opportunity to meander the High Street and view the recently completed Streetscape project with art installations and unique street furniture capturing some of Willunga’s history.
Feedback around the town has been very positive and both the WFM and Willunga Business & Tourism Association hope to work closely together to plan future events of a similar nature.
