Meet our Producers

The Sherry family have been growing strawberries for over 20 years! It all began in the hands of power duo Brenton & Vanessa Sherry whose hard work and dedication have produced two thriving businesses, Harvest the Fleurieu and Kuitpo Forest Strawberries.

Kuitpo Forest Strawberries is where the bulk of their strawberries are grown, picked and packed and then distributed throughout Australia. Harvest the Fleurieu, based in Mount Compass, offers a pick your own strawberry experience to the public but they also grow blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, tayberries (cross between a raspberry & a blackberry), tomatoes, potatoes, beans, peas & more. Their market hall  & café is over flowing year round with local produce & house made artisanal goodies.

Vanessa and Brenton continue to pour their heart and soul into both businesses but are now handing over the reins to the next generation. Adam and partner Sonya run operations at Kuitpo Forest Strawberries while Ryan and Allis are the team behind the Harvest the Fleurieu farm. Both couples have helped develop these businesses into what they are today and are committed to the future of sustainable farming. While sharing their passion for South Australia, the Sherry family aim to always provide fresh, local produce and of course the tastiest strawberries around and hope to continue this journey with their growing family for many years to come.
