In June 2017 we welcomed Push Adventures to the Willunga Farmers Market to undertake an Inclusive Tourism Review, made possible by Regional Development Australia.  Inclusive Tourism is about providing a positive experience for all visitors, it is about making it easier for every-body to visit.  We are excited to share more information from Push Adventures and improved information about the Willunga Farmers Market with you.

COVID-19 Update

An essential service providing fresh food for the local community, we are able to continue to operate during this time. The Willunga Farmers Market has been temporarily relocated to the spacious grounds of the Willunga High School, just 1km north of Town Square. You’ll find all stalls in one convenient location with room to relax and soak up the atmosphere of the Market. More information about the relocation here.

QR Code Check-in (paper check-in also available), sanitize hands on entry to the Market, observe social distancing and direction from volunteers, 8AM – 12noon.

Thank you to our stallholders, shoppers and volunteers for their support during this time.

Accessibility information

The Willunga Farmers Market is very busy between 8 – 10 am, we recommend that you plan to visit after this time for a quieter experience. This is an outdoor market and the market operates all year round. Shade is provided by trees along with additional shade structures and umbrellas during the warmer months (and misting tents during excessive heat!).

The majority of the Willunga Farmers Market is accessed via paved level pathways.

The main seating area is not readily accessible as the seating is located on bark chips. However alternate seating is available at the Northern end by Pizza Kneads and in Kell Street, where there is coffee and eats available.

There is an accessible toilet behind the market square, accessible via a paved pathway.

The ATM has ramped access, located at the Southern entrance of the Market (St Peters Terrace).

Street parking is available along Main Road and addition there are 2 carparks available for a gold coin donation to the local Willunga Bowling Club.  Accessible parking spaces are available in both carparks.

The Willunga High School grounds are not open to pet dogs.  Guide dogs, hearing dogs, assistance dogs and service dogs, including those in training, are permitted throughout the market.

We are committed to creating a great experience for everyone, if we can make your visit more enjoyable or you have feedback please contact
